Dog Days of Summer 2009

Time to plan to attend DOG DAYS OF SUMMER 2009!
Date: June 5th
Where: Downtown Urbana....some activities are in the "Barking Lot" next to Bone-a-fido Bakery. Some activities are at the Depot Coffee House on Miami Street
Time: Scheduled activites begin at 6:00 PM, but food vendors will be downtown at 5PM
Activities include: Blessing of the Animals by Father Tim West; Doggy Parade through Downtown Urbana beginning around 6:30; Canine Demonstrations including one from Bailey, a Search & Rescue Dog from the Sheriff's Department; Trick "Show and Tell" from anyone who cares to participate; Costume Contest; Ice Cream Social and Doggy Beach Party at the Depot Coffee house during the hours of the event.
** Prizes, Food, and Fun**
Come with or without your favorite canine for a howling good time.
All dogs must be on a leash (no Flexi's please)
Monument Square District, who is sponsoring the event, and the City of Urbana will not assume liability for any injuries, damages or losses incurred.
